Center
Drive Augers
GSI offers low cost, low maintenance, and highly efficient Center Drive augers with heavy-duty 7 gauge steel flighting on
8'' (203.2mm) and 10'' (254mm) augers. The main auger tubes
are made of rugged 14 gauge galvanized steel. 15' flighting sections
make replacement much easier. All flighting is teflon coated to
reduce weathering during shipping or storage and is approved for
food grade applications.
Powder
Paint Coated Components All GSI undercarriages and painted parts are powder coated for durability and long life.
Wheels and
Hubs
All hubs and spindles are grease packed for durability and highway towing speeds.
Hydraulic
Lift
An optional hydraulic cylinder lift on the undercarriage can easily
raise and lower the auger. The cylinder lift systems also has a
check valve to regulate pressure to insure the auger lowers slowly
in case of a loss in pressure.
Extension
Hoppers
Galvanized steel extension hoppers bolt on directly to the intake
guard and are available in two profile heights. The short profile
hopper will fit under nearly any truck box. The tall profile hopper
allows for extra unloading capacity. Heavy duty plastic hoppers
are also available.
Three
Shafted Gear Box
A
three shafted gear box drives the flighting from the center line of
the auger. The center drive gear box is located inside the bell and
connects the lower and upper flighting in the center of the grain
flow. The exterior tube is widened in a bell shape to allow unobstructed,
fast flowing grain to pass around the gear box quickly. This internally
mounted gear box helps to minimize the number of moving parts which
reduces costly maintenance.
Track
Assembly
Steel rollers on a double angle-iron track assembly provides support
and assures smooth raising and lowering of the auger. We feature a
track stop that will not allow the auger to be raised higher than
intended.
Undercarriage
A uniquely designed pivot system on the undercarriage makes raising
and lowering a cinch. Heavy duty steel tubing and a wide axle gives
strength and stability.
Bell
Cleanout Door
The
cleanout door, located on the bottom of the bell, allows for convenient
inspection and cleanout of the auger's bell area. The door can be
easily unbolted and removed quickly.
Hooks
and Cables
Guide hooks help keep the cable from sliding off the guide roller.
Our cable is aerospace grade cable for durability and strength to
last a lifetime.
Intake
The auger intake has double flighting to increase capacity. The flighting
is made of extra heavy gauge steel and is teflon coated to prevent
weather during shipping or storage. A guard is welded over the flighting
for additional operator protection.
PTO
Drive Shaft
You
can choose either PTO or electric drives. It can be driven from either
the right or left side and a band-on support provides saddle side
lock-up for transport.
Manual
Winch
The
manual winch comes standard and is designed to fit the size of the
auger. All augers come with owners manual in a weather tight tube,
keeping it right at your fingertips.
