GRA

Cross-cut sampler for free flowing materials including granules, powders & pellets

The GRA industrial cross-cut sampler design collects a representative sample from gravity flow spouts. When activated, a sample cutter pivots through the product stream, sweeping a 120 degree arc, collecting a true cross-section sample. Sample cutter then retracts from the product stream and is sealed when not sampling.

GRES

Cross-cut sampler for inclined spouts which can sample free flowing materials including granules, powders & pellets

The GRES design requires very little space and collects representative samples from sloped gravity chute areas. When activated, a sample cutter pivots through the product stream, sweeping a complete 360-degree arc, collecting a true cross-cut sample. Sample cutter is parked away from the stream of material and is sealed when not sampling.

GP

Collects samples of free flowing materials including granules & pellets. Mounted in a sloped or vertical gravity chute

The GP collects a repeatable sample when mounted in a sloped or vertical gravity chute. When activated, the slotted sample tube extends into the product stream. A sample slot, which can be sized per the material, allows the sample to enter the sample tube. The sample then flows through the tube and into the sample collection device of your choice. The sample tube then retracts from the product stream and seals the opening.

PT

For sampling granules & pellets. Mounted on positive or negative, vertical or horizontal pneumatic conveying systems or gravity chutes.

When activated, sample tube extends into the product stream. A cavity in the tube collects the sample. Sample tube then retracts out of the product stream and seals the line. Standard construction: Aluminum seal housing, stainless steel sampling tube with Teflon seals. Other construction materials available as required by application.

GS

Collects samples of free flowing materials including granules & pellets. Mounted beneath an auger, drag conveyor or sloped gravity chute.

When activated, the sample discharge moves on a sliding plate over an opening in the chute housing, allowing access to the product stream. The opening, which can be sized per the material, allows the sample to enter the sample discharge port. The sample then flows through the opening and into the sample collection device of your choice. The slide plate and sample discharge port then return to the start position, sealing the opening. Standard construction is heavy gauge steel. Other construction materials are available as required by the application.

GSS

For free flowing materials including pellets, chips, flakes, granules & powders. Provides sample from gravity flow pipes or spouts for hoppers.

The GSS design is very rugged and requires a minimum of space to install. Sample tube spans the product stream and is supported on both walls. When activated, sample tube rotates 360 degrees as the screw auger simultaneously moves the sample to the discharge. Close tolerance auger ensures excellent product clean-out. Standard construction: dust-tight aluminum drive housing, stainless steel sample tube and auger. Other construction materials available as required by application.

GSS-U is designed for sanitary application in pharmaceutical and food industries. The design is very rugged and requires a minimum of space to install. Sample tube spans the product stream and is supported on both walls. When activated, sample tube rotates 360 degrees as the screw auger simultaneously moves the sample to the discharge. Close tolerance auger ensures excellent product clean-out. Standard construction: dust-tight aluminum drive housing, stainless steel sample tube and auger. Other construction materials available as required by application.

For free flowing materials including granules, powders & pellets. For vertical & inclined gravity spout.

Design requires very little space and collects repeatable samples. When activated, a slotted sample tube rotates through the product stream, exposing the sample slot opening to the stream and collects a sample. The sample then flows through the tube and into the sample collection device of your choice. The tube continues to rotate, sweeping a complete 360-degree arc and stops. Sample slot is positioned away from the stream of material when not sampling. Standard construction is carbon steel with a stainless steel tube. Other construction materials are available as required by the application.

PS

Samples fines, small or large particles & works with abrasive materials.

The PS is used for free-flowing materials ranging from microscopic powders to large granules and pellets and heavy viscosity liquids with acid suspensions. Collects accurate samples from gravity or pneumatic conveying systems (positive or negative, dense or dilute phase). It may be mounted in vertical or horizontal lines, spouts or chutes. When activated, the sample tube extends into the product stream and collects a sample. The sample tube then fully retracts, seals the line and eliminates product stream obstruction. Close tolerance auger then moves the sample to the discharge and provides excellent product clean-out.

PRT and HD-PRT

Samples fines, small or large particles & works with abrasive materials.

These samplers employ very simple and reliable operation and use minimum headroom. Mounting may be in chutes, hoppers, at belt end or head chutes. When activated, a slotted sample tube enters the product stream with the slot facing down. While fully extended, the sample tube rotates 270 degrees, taking a representative sample through the product stream. The sample tube then retracts out of the product stream, into the sampler housing and deposits the sample into the discharge. The sample tube can be driven pneumatically or hydraulically.
